How it all started . . .
A century ago my grandfather began
establishing his enterprise of vending,
transportation, and housing. He was molded
from an era of go-getters and
do-it-yourselfers . Along the early path of his
life he befriended a man my family grew up
knowing as "Uncle Tony". Not biologically
related to our family, but still considered
family, always. Tony was a brilliant man with
the intelligence and experience exceeding
most engineers of today. He was revered as
a master craftsman. Uncle Tony helped
mentor many young lives, including mine.
